Before and after school care
Morning : Open at 7.45 am, Breakfast served at 8.10am: selection of cereals, toast, fruit with fresh fruit juice, milk and warm drinks on cold days offered.
Child cost: £5.00
Commuter Session: Arrival after 8.30am, drink offered but not served breakfast £2.00 per child.
Afternoon: Open at 3.30 pm until 5pm
Commuter Session 3.30 - 4.00 pm £3 per child.
3.30 - 4.30 pm £6 per child
3.30 - 5pm £7 per child
Children not collect at 5pm will incur a late collection charge of £5.00 per 5 minutes to cover employee's extra working time.
SPECIAL EVENTS:
3.30 - 5.00 pm £4.00 per child
Children not collected at 5pm will be charged normal rates.
Children attending after school clubs held in school and requires the services of the Foxes' Den after will be charged from 3.30pm.
All children must be registered to attend, please ask for a registration pack.

School clubs
There are a variety of school clubs which take place at Newtown Primary School.
Current clubs are:
- Peak Active Sports after school
- Clubs run by Year Six Buddies at lunch-time
- Choir is run by Miss Fitzpatrick on a Tuesday after school
- Spanish Club
- Gardening and planting club
School council
Representatives from the school attend half-termly High Peak Kids Council sessions. We then report our plans back to the rest of school.
Our current focus areas are:
- to develop 'Feet not Fuel' project
- to reduce litter in the area
- to raise funds for the The Thomas Theyer Foundation
