Peak Edge Group of Schools (PEGS)
Thornsett Primary School is part of a Formal Collaboration with the other Primary and Nursery Schools and Secondary school in the New Mills area. This group is known as the Peak Edge Group of Schools. The group works closely together to achieve better outcomes for those in the group and has the following in place:

PEGS information is accessed by schools through a shared drop-box.
PEGS is extremely effective in delivering better outcomes for all through close collaboration and has been praised by DCC as a superb example of how schools should be working in partnership.
